@RavynWitch I've mainly turned into the middle aged dude who people turn to when they are experiencing IT-trouble.
As I fix peoples stuff, I inform them of VPNs, Signal and whatnot and show them how to use it if they are positive to change.
No one can do everything,
but everyone can do something!
I just completed Windows Command Line room on TryHackMe. Learn the essential Windows commands.
I just completed Search Skills room on TryHackMe.
Learn to efficiently search the Internet and use specialized search engines and technical docs.
I am incredibly fed up with the 'modern' internet. AI-generated crap everywhere. Everything is monetized, either drowned in ads or behind paywalls.
I miss the old internet (early 2000's).
Considering removing all my big company social media accounts and retreat to Mastodon, Discord and IRC.
Someday I would love to live in an dwelling that has place for a small electrical workshop where I can solder, have a filament-printer, and do all my small proof of concept-builds of quirky tech stuff no one will ever need.
I got no space for fun in my apartment at alll. It's starting to suck.
Also, I don't currently have a soldering iron and I do not own a filament printer (yet) but hey, a guy can dream!?
Question for the #infosec crowd
After the latest round of updates (Windows 11 Pro 24H2), I've been blessed with autocomplete on everything.
This includes the password box when logging in to Bastion.
So question no.1 - on a scale of "holy fucking shit" to "what the fuck", where do you think this rates?
Question no.2 - how the fuck do you turn this off
and Question no.3 - why is it impossible to report an issue to Microsoft from within Windows 11 Pro?
