if you're into ham radio fox hunts, we'll be hiding a few of the prototypes that we're developing for defcon, so this is your chance to snag one early! bring your radio and see if you can find one!

consider bringing a laptop! we're trying to organize a CTF or two, so wireless equipment may also not be a bad idea if you're into that kind of thing

feeling creative? we've got a TON of keycaps in various sizes, colors, etc. for hacker crafts! we've got keycaps, rotary tools, hot glue guns, and twine to make necklaces, bracelets, etc. so bring your creativity! we'll have prizes for the most creative crafts!

If sticker swap is more your speed, we'll have that too! so make sure you bring some stickers to trade! we'll have a table set up for trading those sweet sweet stickers.

rot13labs now has functional BadUSB Earrings! They're also available in DIY kits, although you will definitely need a hotplate or reflow oven to solder on those 24 pin usb-C connectors.

The badge itself is a fully QMK compatible macropad, so building/flashing new macros is super simple. It features an atmega328p controller, Kailh speed pro heavy switches, and double shot ABS keycaps. By default it comes with a custom firmware puzzle. you solve it, you get the date/location of rotcon!

what is rotcon? It's like the circle bar experience from defcon, or lobbycon from Shmoo; no talks, no vendors, just hackers, beers, and good times. We'll have some hacker games, hacker crafts, maybe a CTF or two.

Everyone is welcome to join, no badge is needed to attend. If you get the date/location, feel free to share it with friends, family, coworkers, etc. The only rule is don't post it to any social media! we want this to spread by badges and word of mouth only! Hope to see you all there!!

Auction #2 contains an OMGWTFDFW hackbutt. These are functionally identical to the original hackbutts sold at DC30, but are on purple PCBs. There were only 5 of these made for DC attendees who got screwed by DFW. it also has a hackbutt SAO (possibly the last one? every time I say this I end up finding more...)

Auction #3 contains a BSides Tampa Uber badge. These were made for a few special BSides krew members, and as prizes for the badge CTF. There was only 8 of these made. This Uber badge does not grant eternal BSides Tampa access, but it is a deauth detector; the eyes will pulse red when a deauth attack is detected on any wifi network within range of the badge.
