Experimenting with programmatic typography distortion (and nostalgia) for my way late #ptpx #penplotter postcard exchange contributions. On the lovely axidraw with the equally lovely vsketch/vpype.

Postcards, postcards, #penplotter postcards going out. Can’t stop! All based on the same underlying code but all unique. Just like us. But also pen lines on paper so not to be taken too seriously :)

Plotparty 2023 postcard exchange
This is part of the fantastic pen plot postcard exchange for Plot Party (November 2023) set up by Michelle on Pen Plot Art. SVGs were created here on Observable using Ln (The 3D Line Art Engine) and then optimized for plotting with the essential (for me anyway) vpype. A variation of the plot uses the 'squiggles' function from vpype.
