Came to the ballpark to see some history, and this happened right next to me. Benintendi tossed us a ball for a kid, it landed directly in this guy’s beer. Baseball! #WhiteSox
Looks like @gruber updated his post to include a link in which @taylorlorenz is singled out for her… pessimism?
Among other points it suggests things won’t be that bad (“Climate change isn’t going to destroy human civilization in the next few years”) and it’s both counterproductive and nihilistic to say otherwise. “Doomers [like her] are basically doing this to themselves.”
I guess that’s context, at least. Still not sure what he’s trying to say.
