One month to go until tiny ruby #{conf}!
After listening to about a dozen first-hand accounts, I’ve published what I know so far about the RubyGems takeover.
EuRuKo 2026 is happening in Brno, Czech Republic next year!
#EuRuKo is next week! Who's going? I'll be there 😊
Also, kinda unrelated but kinda not. I'll be in Viana do Castelo a few days ahead of time. If you'd like to meet up for a lunch (or an ice cream?) on Tuesday or Wednesday before the conference ping me! Even if we haven't met before, I'd love to say Hi!
And finally: I've been doing some ruby game dev the past few weeks in #dragonruby. It's fun. I'll probably be speaking about that on a Stockholm Ruby (#sthlmrb) meetup in October!
🎉 Just 15 days to go!
Euruko 2025 is almost here — and the Heart of Code is beating faster 💛
Rubyists from all over are heading to Viana do Castelo for an unforgettable edition full of top talks, hands-on workshops, and community vibes.
📅 Sept 18–19 (Ruby Safari on Sept 20)
📍 Viana do Castelo, Portugal

Ruby social? Ruby social.
In one week, on Wed 10.
Copenhagen.rb as a Stammtisch.
Aji Slater has had a unique journey into tech. Before they were writing code, they were working as a vaudevillian, touring with the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
Now with a decade of Ruby and Rails experience, Aji is a #RailsConf 2025 keynote speaker. We interviewed them to chat about their journey, what to expect from "The Keynote of Keynotes," and more!

Today is the day, Ruby Springish Meetup is happening this late afternoon in Stockholm!
We've got enough room, food, and drinks so you're more than welcome to do a late RSVP and join us 😊
In 6 days and 6 hours I (supported by @varvet) is co-organising another Stockholm Ruby meetup, together with Hemnet!
Last event (November) we had slightly over 40 attendees and we had a great time. I met a handful of first-timers, and I held a talk about the rails 8/sqlite/solid developments of last year.
I’m really happy we've been able to find speakers and pull together a small crowd of friendly Rubyish people like this.
Keep Ruby cozy. And weird.
I recommend this workshop by @Kasper Timm Hansen about Action View source Deep Dive.
Kasper has a great way of explaining complex technical concepts in an easy-to-follow and understand manner, and I believe that if you want to fully grasp #Rails Action View, this is the workshop to attend.
