@Panacci @Gargron it's more like email than twitter. if you want a Hotmail address and a Gmail address you have to register separately on each service, and there's no guarantee you can get the same name on both.

@[email protected] feel free to try out the experimental branch at https://github.com/brrzap/tootstream/tree/experimental and see if that's a satisfactory solution (for multiline toots anyway). it's a bash-like mechanism, so quote your full toot and leave off the end-quote, or put a '\' before the newline to get the secondary prompt. a character limit counter probably isn't doable but would a ruler help?

@raccoon @brrzap not on your code, on experimental w/ the desktop notification threads. it's not throwing notifications on the updates but it logs them and i get 2 entries for each toot.
