Looking for advice on fixing a cheap battery powered toy. The switch was attached by surface mount leads which ripped the traces off the board when the switch was stepped on. Is there an easy way to remove the plastic coating from the trace on either side of the break? I tried a little sanding with a sanding sponge and it had no visible effect. I’m worried about using a blade due to the very shallow traces.
