Actually brought 2 Dimpa bags with us for the trip & a local woman loved them, stopped to ask “where from?!”. I was eyeing them in the rack the whole trip. Thieves are usually opportunistic, not buying a ticket to “case the joint” for such items. Like the bungee cord to rack idea.

@xtaran @ericsfraga @wolfgangcramer I used to keep an IKEA Dimpa bag inside a zipped compartment in my Brompton bag, just in case, when I knew I was on a train in Zurich, and in Singapore (lived/worked in both cities). As you say, the fascination outweighed the regulations.
