Nach meiner Auffassung wäre es die Aufgabe von #Medien & insbesondere des #ÖRR gewesen, im #Wahlkampf die wirklich wichtigen Themen zu fokussieren & die Kandidierenden danach zu befragen.

You know why we Germans are so pedantic about data protection? Someone around 90 years ago went through all records available, selected people with certain criteria, with the help of IBM, and then killed them all.

We don't want to be on any list.

And now the US Gov and Musk are trying to get access to all data they have about every person and put them into a big fat DB and run AI over it.

I am afraid what they will do with that.

From a technology perspective things will get messy in Europe, Vance has confirmed the US will go in full attack against our regulations (AI Act, DSA , DMA etc), how will we react, will we compromise or not? Big risks are involved because we are extremely dependent on US tech. The US could "shut us down" if they like...(Cloud, services etc). We should start migrating to EU tech and services ASAP and/or start to build them.

Das Problem: Viele prominente Unterstützer predigen den digitalen Wandel, nutzen aber selbst keine Alternativen wie das #Fediverse. Statt echter Veränderung gibt es schicke Porträts, griffige Sprüche und eine Unterschrift. Wer wirklich etwas bewegen will, muss Alternativen aktiv nutzen, nicht nur irgendwo unterschreiben.
