Subvert.fm is live (no Mastodon account? Get on that folks!). Co-op owned streaming/sales platform. Bandcamp is great but putting our faith in corporate owned platforms is not wise in this day and age. I put my music on there but check out the whole platform!

They should give @edzitron a freaking Nobel or something he's a goddamn genius. Every word he writes is gold! We should ALL be listening to him!

I've read her first book and some of her short stories, all great. Nothing could've prepared me for how amazing this one is. Stunning! Essential read!
Waking up to an email from Ultimae Records alerting that there is a new MARTIN NONSTATIC album out is about as good a way to start the day as one can ask for. And to no surprise it's amazing!

I've been a reader of @igloomagoo for a LONG TIME!! To have them review and album I made is surreal, and to have them give it a positive review is even more so. An incredible honor! Thank you!!

Anhnch :: Cartography of Expression (Self Released)

What lingers is a sense of disorientation paired with reflection—a portrait of a fractured present, hinting at eventual calm while acknowledging the long aftermath ahead. In that sense, Cartography of Expression stands as both document and inquiry, tracing intersections of sound, voice, and politics

Watched this last night. Obviously a deeply flawed man (and this must've been released before it was accepted fact that he'd fathered Sally Hemmings' children) but listening to the intelligence and intellectual breadth of mind and then thinking about where we are today is pretty heartbreaking!
