I'm honestly surprised this platform has lasted. I can barely keep up with 1 form of social media, much less all the flip-flopping we have had in this space over the past year or so. I am setting my pc back up with some of my networks and this one made it. I'm using the Elk client, because it is so much more user friendly. I've been using arc browser on mac and I am sad that I still can't use it on pc, so I'm settling for Edge's vertical tabs for now.
I am so excited to start a new journey in my career. I'm joining Provi as Staff Engineer Design Systems! I'm looking forward to being back in the frontend space and getting to work with CSS and Svelte. I decided after being laid off, that devrel was not right for me at this time. I'll still be involved with Svelte Sirens, CodingCat.Dev, and Svelte Radio. And I'm sure I'll be speaking, mcing, or attending conferences again soon, just with more topics!

I skipped the last four years of yearly review posts, but we’re back now:

Hooray! #SvelteKit 1.0 has been tagged and released!

As someone who was Team SvelteKit before it was even a thing (I used Sapper, y'all), I have been very excited about SvelteKit and watching its progress.

I even have a couple SvelteKit apps in production already! So this is a big day for my toolkit.

Congrats to all who have worked on this amazing tool. I look forward to contributing (again).

Okay, hopefully fixed the responsive issues 😅
Also updated a little of the content.

I did it! I set out to update and redo my website this weekend and it is done!

It's been 6 months since I joined the @contentful DevRel team as a developer advocate 🥑

My first 6 months as a Developer Advocate

I’ve been a developer advocate full-time at Contentful for 6 months. I feel extremely fortunate. I love this job so much. There’s an unsaid tradition to write a blog post when you cross the 6-month milestone, so here we go.
