I run Action Network, the mobilization and organizing toolset for Democrats and progressives. Also: former Digital Director for John Kerry, here for politics, tech, jokes, and more Boston Celtics than you probably want.

I basically decided that leaving Twitter didn't mean I had to replace Twitter and go somewhere else, but I am moved now to post because holy hell! I just went to "X," and it's astonishingly terrible. No headlines?!

I always thought the "Musk bought Twitter to kill it" thing couldn't possibly be true, but that's such an obviously stupid thing it's making me question my skepticism.

OK, all these "objects" getting shot down, and now there's a chemical spill in some random midwestern town? Has no one seen a movie? This is obviously an alien invasion.
Joyous tidings to all who celebrate

Ah, the sweet, sweet satisfaction of choosing the right security line at the airport

My son: my English teacher played a "guess this song from the 90s" game with us today

Me, 45 minutes later: ok, just one more, what about this song? he must've played this!

When politicians obviously lie, that fact is far more important than the content of what they say, and reporters should treat it that way.
I remember when I worked in the Senate, someone asked me if I could make one rule, what would it be, and I said, "ban cable news from all offices," and I stick by that.

D.C. home rule imperiled by Kevin McCarthy fallout

A concession to the far right could make the District more susceptible to meddling.

I don't understand why people are getting riled up about Glass Onion. It was...fine. I can no more get excited about praising it as I can fired up to trash it.
