I don’t catch every episode of every bootstrapper podcast, but the turn-of-the-year episodes are always most interesting to me (quick recap, current goals).

Good re-entry point for those who’ve skipped some episodes.

You should make a point of posting one of those.

I've noticed about 3 instances in the past few days where chatGPT provided incorrect or misdescribing code examples.

Luckily, the mistakes were easy to spot and when I point them out, chatGPT recognized the mistake.

Handle with care.

In late 2022 I landed on my favorite exercise mix I’ve found yet. My goal is stick with this through 2023:

All year:
- 3x/week: 5x5 strength training
- 3x/week: Walking or rucking
- 1x/week: Tennis
- Daily: Stretching/Yoga

Winter:
- Snowboarding

Summer/Fall:
- Cycling

Mind blown. Day 2 of using chatGPT in my workflow.

It's like an on-demand coding coach that knows exactly what I'm asking, even if I'm vague and provide little context.

Actually much better than a human code coach.

My skills have advanced more in 48 hours than in 6 months.

The new chat history in chatGPT is awesome. It even automatically names your chats for easy reference.

Good night sleep.
Great morning workout.
Brewed the perfect cup of coffee.
Sat down at my desk.
Threw on my work playlist.
First sip. Yum.
Ready for a productive Friday.

Spilled my mug all over my desk and floor.

I can confidently say that chatGPT eliminated several hours of googling and trial and error in my coding work today.

I can easily see myself just keeping a chatGPT window open alongside Sublime and Terminal in my daily workflow.

It's a tool.

I have a terrible habit of typing "messsage" and somehow being blind to the 3 "s" typo.

Kinda a problem, given the name of my company.

Is there a mastodon app that can schedule posts? Or is that not possible on mastodon at all?

I find it helpful to describe in detail 2 potentialities for upcoming year:

Path A: If my strategy and execution brings the results I want.

Path B: If they don’t. Then this is the alternative path.

I don’t hope for Path B. But describing it in detail makes it palatable (enjoyable and rewarding even). Without describing it, Path B is simply “Not Path A” and that looks like failure. Something to fear.

Helps me stay indifferent and just focus on what I can control: Strategy & execution.
