It's been a week. Treating myself a bit. 🍷

I've been playing Satisfactory off and on for several years, and I always wanted to finish the final phase of the game prior to the full release. The game is releasing tomorrow though, so the last few weeks have been a mad dash for me to "finish".

This factory makes 8 Assembly Director Systems, 8 Magnetic Field Generators, 2 Thermal Propulsion Rockets, and 2 Nuclear Pasta per minute, all from scratch using only 729 total production buildings (including off-site miners and oil/water extractors, and no overclocking except miners). The furthest resources from the factory are ~1.5KM away.

I tested out using a "universal factory bus" where items flow along the length and are pulled to the side for management (so many balancers) before being sent up to the machines. I think I can really trim down the logic layer more with some better pre-planning, but this was a neat proof-of-concept for now. I also wish I had more time to add architectural elements like supports and walls, but the naked look is also kinda neat.

I'm making brackets for EDC and decided to embrace my inner nerd by making some mathematical constants. (Answers in the alt text.) πŸ€“
Collecting up a few materials around the Titan Forest area to make a new mega-factory. πŸ‘€β€‹ (There's 5 more belts coming from another direction.) #Satisfactory
I've picked up Satisfactory again because I really want to finish the final milestone before 1.0 releases. But first I needed to build some more power to scale up. This power plant in the Blue Crater produces 20GW using diluted fuel. I might pretty it up more a little later. 🏭⚑
So I was playing some Infinite Craft tonight...
Oh how nice, Telegram is pushing ads for crypto in one of my group chats. How much further downhill does it have to sink before everyone moves on? ☠️
The latest "project" I've been assigned to in a nutshell. πŸ₯²
I'm back to see Puccini's La Bohème. It's crazy to me that it's been almost 30 years since I performed in this opera and yet the melodies are still so familiar. 🎢
My season tickets to the opera are pretty sweet, front row just to the right of the conductor. Tonight is Beethoven's Fidelio! 🧐🎢
