A year ago today, my wife and I were leaving our first visit to the Halcyon, Disney’s Galactic Starcruiser. It was the most incredible vacation experience I’ve ever had.
Today, I’m having all the big feelings - anger, sadness, grief - that we are lucky to have been twice, and will not be able to go again.
If you never had a chance, I wish you’d had the chance too. If you were able to go, then “Ta’bu E Tay!”
After spending the last couple of days in a minor existential crisis around the status quo of what I do (“Agile is a curse word now!”) I’m spending my Saturday morning while my wife trains for the marathon having coffee and trying to figure out a change roadmap for my $employer.

Just got home from our second and last trip to the Galactic Starcruiser.
It was as amazing as the first time, and so much more emotional knowing there won’t be another - at least, not in its current incarnation.
I’ve got so many thoughts and feelings, but for now I’m trying to not let thoughts of the future cloud my enjoyment of one of my favorite places ever.
Still decompressing from our fantastic 10th anniversary vacation to the #GalacticStarcruiser: one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Mentally already planning our next visit, but we have so many other places we want to see together.

Intentionally slowing down my swing leaves me hitting the ball straighter and longer. Unless I’ve got a wedge in my hand.
