A long time ago I was a guitar player and teacher. A little while later I thought I might be a designer, I needed the money. I ended up being a professional computer-er.

I listen to music (orchestral, chamber, 60s jazz, millennial dad-rock, etc.) and read books, many of which I don’t understand. I’m in the thrall of a small person. I like looking at trees.

Maybe Halloween appropriate. For the past few months I think, when there’s a decent breeze, you can hear a sound like a plaintive violin coming from the bush near our place.

I am under slept because a huntsman ended up trapped in the folds of this party decoration that was bundled in the corner of the bedroom. Its crawling around in there was enough to wake me up and keep me awake. So I brushed it out the bedroom, along the hallway, down the stairs and out the door.
