Sorry sorry, not round here much so didn't update: Nessie unexpectedly rallied right before going in for surgery. She remained weak for a time but is fine now, thank goodness. Refunded all donations as they weren't needed, but my enormous gratitude remains. Cats!

Replaced the fill valve on a toilet without flooding the house. Now idly entertaining fantasies of becoming a plumber, instead of this writing nonsense.

That felt like the longest winter of my life. I'm sure it wasn't - put it down to the sense of perma-crisis on Piss Island - but by god I'm glad to see the sun. Give me life and hope, o burning eye.

Coming up on 3 years with my Fold 2, the longest I've ever stuck with the same phone (and indeed tablet).

Diminished battery life aside, I love it as much as I ever did, and currently see no reason whatsoever to upgrade it this side of 2025.
