I used to own Windows laptops, and most of their touchpads are so shit that the retail store just gave out an external mouse as free gift, when you purchase them, because the laptop is almost unusable without an external mouse as pointing device lol.

I have not once had this experience. Not saying it never happens but this is the usual fallacy comparing a single hardware supplier, Apple, making all their own hardware for their products, with the Windows laptop ecosystem where you got tons of manufacturers cheaping out whenever possible.
