@jensimmons It should be possible to use unitless values for tracking (letter-spacing). CSS should honor a long-standing typographic tradition. All professional software does this correctly. Tracking of 8 would be eight thousandth of an em. It’s too verbose to write calc(8em / 1000).
And letter-spacing should have always been part of font shorthand.
