The Cambridge Bread Festival this weekend had 11 professional bakers making traditional French baguettes and 61 amateurs with sourdough boules. Clear Flour bakery won the professional event. There were 3 amateur winners.
My loaf didn't make the cut, but I learnt a lot from the others and from the judges. The top image is a selection of the loaves. Mine is #64 (nearest the camera). The bottom two images are the loaf I made after getting back home to try out some of the things I learnt.
