The word "entitled" has so many of y'all confused.
There's a difference between:
"She is entitled"
And
"She feels entitled"
The implication of feeling entitled, is often that you are not entitled.
If you've paid into social security your whole career, you *are* entitled to benefits.
Vs
"Dudes online feel entitled to my time and energy."
Evil people use this confusion to make it sound like people who *are* entitled, only *feel like* they are entitled. They make it sound like an unearned benefit.
"We have to get rid of all of these entitlements!" and other such nonsense.
@aarRJaay it's the observance of the last enslaved people in Texas finally finding out that they were freed by the Emancipation Proclamation (weeks after the war ended). The true Independence Day in the US.
The Spaceshipper 🚀On Netflix as on Max, Scavengers Reign was only available in a handful of countries. Which didn't help. But even in these markets, the audience wasn't there.

We’ve had to fight tooth and nail every step of the way to get this show made, starting all the way back in 2016 with the Scavengers short film to the release of the first season last year. It’s a case study for believing in something and persevering through a million and one hurdles. But, it got made, thanks especially to so many people who supported it along the way, in big and small ways. I want to thank some of those people, starting with my co-creator Charles Huettner @charles.huettner , Chris Prynoski @chrisprynoski and everyone at @titmouseinc , my home base at @greenstreetpictures , the writers, directors, and so many incredible artists who worked tirelessly on the show, and the folks at Max who were incredible partners to work with. @julen I think (but haven't dug too deep into the origins) that it's an attempt to create a counter-meme to distract from the virality of stories about JD Vance (allegedly) fucking couches. They look at all of the people pretending to take that seriously and they are mimicking that, but doing it badly, because they are unfunny and cruel creeps.
@DrTCombs this sounds a bit like laundering money or stolen credit cards through legitimate accounts. There must be a flaw that allows buying (and redeeming) egift cards without any confirmation.
