I’m not a fan of the national anthem nor having it played before non-international competitions, but I’m really not a fan if you take 10 minutes to sing it. Golllleee dude

Go A’s though 💚💛

⚾️ Happy Opening Day ⚾️

WOKE MOB: a large well informed group of people with basic empathy who are compassionate, committed to dismantling injustices, and making the world a better place for all of humankind.
In case you need to hear this today: just because somebody asks you to do something doesn't mean you have to say yes!

Would I be repeating myself if I said how cool pond hockey is?

I'm still thinking about how awesome the Summit Youth Hockey pond #hockey fundraiser was last weekend.

Things you can say when the evidence proves you wrong:

1. Wow, I had no idea! Thank you for clarifying.
2. I was wrong.
3. I didn’t know that but now I do and I’m smarter for it.
4. This just proves that you can be really sure about something and still be wrong!

When a school board, a library or a state bans books, it’s not a show of strength. It’s a sign they’re ruled by fear. Fear of knowledge. Fear of opposing views. Fear of democracy.

Masks are not a lockdown.
Nor is testing before events.
Or getting boosters.
Or improving ventilation & filtration.

None of those interventions (despite some people's best efforts to claim otherwise) cause more harm than good. Every person who cares about the economy, jobs & quality of life will support sensible #COVID19 precautions, not oppose them.

Some people are advocating for millions more to die and many more to be chronically disabled. Reject their patent lack of sense & empathy.

A quick reminder that law enforcement *responds* to crime, but a living wage, food and water security, accessible healthcare, and public education *prevent* crime.

If you want safer communities, invest in people, not punishments.

I just paid my Shuumi Land Tax and encourage all my #SFBA friends to do the same if you’re able this year.
