Interesting - other than insistently asking why I was terminating my Internode/(iiNet/TPG) services today I was informed (and I quote) when asking for my personal information to be deleted that...
Internode will not be affected by "issues like the Optus and Medicare data breaches because our security is tip top".
That was also by way of an excuse as to why there is apparently no mechanism to contact management other than supplying feedback (when Internode ask for it) to delete my data and also why (as it stands) Internode/iiNet/TPG intend to store my information forever.
EDIT: In the spirit of fairness, this was a much better answer that I got by sending the same question to Internode via FaceBook:
