Apps for Android 🤖

I'll probably talk a lot of Android development and info when our apps have new releases.

Here's my main Android app, Offline Diary. It's a diary/note/list taking app. Personally, I use it to track my workouts, keep notes and reminders of things, make todo lists, and write down anything else I want to keep track of. It supports images, labels, lists, searching by text or label, themes and lots of other stuff.

Keep a diary. Keep it offline. Keep it safe.

@mihamarkic Hm, that's good to know. I do sometimes build and test on Windows, but even on my Mac it takes a while. But I have five different apps in this project and a few custom libraries and kotlin mixed in. So I think it's just A LOT of code.
@bliss @xabaras Motorola Droid X running Eclair. Still got it right here. I don't test my apps on it anymore though 🤣
@mihamarkic Isn't just you. Mine takes that long as well. I haven't tried optimizing my build that much though.
@jvmname @zsmb13 Yeah, same here. I've got test utility stuff in kotlin but not the text fixtures themselves.
@Htaggert @joshroxs123_ @Bam @imklg Yeah, I think that moving instances will let you get the "local" feed from that new instance, but I believe that's the only advantage. However, if you want to move, they have some doc on it: https://docs.joinmastodon.org/user/moving/

Take your information and do what you want with it.

@zachklipp Yeah, is imagine so. Just more painful when it's just you and you have only yourself to blame 😂
Sitting here on a Sunday night working my way out of test technical debt. Does anyone else have a big file of test "utility" type of methods? Yeah, not my finest moment... #android #AndroidDev #java #kotlin
@cliffwade To be fair, no one really knows CSS
@ppvi That's technically one line of code 😉
