If you haven’t heard, Cisco IOS-XE has a pretty nasty vulnerability (CVSS of 10) in their webserver that is being exploited. If you have “ip http server” or “ip http secure-server” in your configuration, you will want to disable it immediately. https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/over-10-000-cisco-devices-hacked-in-ios-xe-zero-day-attacks/
Over 10,000 Cisco devices hacked in IOS XE zero-day attacks

Attackers have exploited a recently disclosed critical zero-day bug to compromise and infect more than 10,000 Cisco IOS XE devices with malicious implants.

Excited to share this episode of the IPv6 Buzz Podcast I did with Ed Horley, Scott Hogg & Tom Coffeen last week. Had a really good time and was honored to be asked on. We talked Ohio IX, US Networking User Association and more. Check it out! https://packetpushers.net/podcast/ipv6-buzz-137-running-ipv6-at-an-internet-exchange/
IPv6 Buzz 137: Running IPv6 At An Internet Exchange - Packet Pushers

On today's IPv6 Buzz, we talk with Jason Gintert of the Ohio Internet Exchange about what's involved with running an IX and where IPv6 fits in to the picture. We also discuss Jason's work with the US Networking User Association, a group that brings together network engineers to share knowledge and learn from one another.

Check out this conversation I had a little while ago with
@tracketpacer & Andy Lapteff on the @artofneteng
podcast about IXPs, USNUA, SD-WAN and more! Great discussion, great group of people running it and an amazing community. #aone #usnua #ixp #keeptrafficlocal https://artofnetworkengineering.com/2023/03/29/ep-116-jason-gintert/

Really sad to see that Gigi Sohn has been driven out of the FCC appointment process. Regulated entities selecting their regulators is a particularly American failing.

CXO Insight: Do We Really Need Kubernetes at the Edge? - GigaOm

Last week I attended Edge Field Day 1, a Tech Field Day event focused on edge computing solutions. Some of the sessions really made me think. Edge infrastructures are quite different from anything in the data center or the cloud: the farther from the center you go, the tinier devices become. Less CPU power, less […]
