Someone living with an incurable, treatment resistant, severe mental illness causing extreme long-term suffering.

Someone living with brain damage that has left their pain centre of their brain fully active, constantly.

Someone suffering from full body paralysis (locked-in) with no prospect of any recovery, unable to even blink their own eyelids requiring a level of care they are almost guaranteed not to receive.

The list goes on.

Sunk cost and they’re more scared of the Russians than they are of the USA, in short.

I picked it up in early access for nothing and honestly never got round to going back to it after all these years. I really enjoyed the hour or so I spent messing about and then life got in the way.

It’s polygon, their work was already pretty dreadful, but I feel like I distinctly recall that they started using AI slopware to generate most of their content a while back?

In case you weren’t joking, there’s an excellent project called valetudo that allows you to neuter the phone-home capabilities of supported models of these dodgy chinese spyware machines that happen to also clean your house, with very decent home assistant compatibility.

If you’re buying a 1k+ $£€ robot, make sure you really own it properly and hack it.

To this day they are some of my very favourite games. Orta was a thoroughly under appreciated installment. They are well worth your time to play and to emulated/get working on modern systems where you can.
