A friend remarked that there are a lot of our generation that loved her old work that may be heading for breakups now. Her anthems are filled with empowerment and people need it. Which may be causing or caused by the horny hehe.

@isocat Cornbread is just Jiffy with a couple spoonfuls of sugar. Made in a cast iron skillet of course.
@isocat 1 lb white beans, soaked overnight. 1 small yellow onion thinly sliced. 4 garlic cloves thinly sliced. 1 jar hot salsa. 2 to 3 quarts chicken stock. 8 oz pork product. Salt and pepper, 1 bay leaf.
Soften onions & garlic in butter and a little bacon fat. Add pork and bay leaf. Add soaked beans (drained.) Season with salt and pepper. Add salsa. Pour over stock. Bring to gentle simmer and stir. Few dashes of ground cayenne. Leave on stove for 1.5 to 2 hrs. Stir gently 2 or 3 times total.
@isocat Simple bean soup and cornbread. I forgot to get a hamsteak so I used country ham biscuit slices. Home made chicken stock and basically everything from the pantry keeps things cozy.
