my older brother's birthday was recently. This nearly finished drawing was left over from from 2018 when I made a different digital drawing of him and one or more dogs, and it seemed a fairly simple matter to render this as slightly more presentable. This scene, inspired by, possibly closely imitated from real life events (I only improvised the lowest 20%, because the photograph was posted as a cropped square on instagram where I found it), also features a famous dog named Samuel.
a "quick" test of the new tablet pressure sensitivity in, a feature i had looked forward to for quite a while! i drew a nemitz first because anything i made after that could only be an improvement.
quick as in i probably meant to draw one frame in ten minutes that transformed into two hours
