I can only imagine once elected, sending Walz around the country getting people excited about important legislation, continuing making mass zoom calls to discuss important ideas and fighting for people who aren't wealthy and are just trying to get by.
It's not just about winning the election; it's really about remaking the Democratic party as the party of the people, not of wealthy influential donors.

Sure, I understand the need of Democrats to cater to the middle, but that didn't work out for Obama as he bungled a rollout of a popular healthcare system, then had his party lose congress by a lot as well as the White House.
I do hope that Harris will learn from that.

That said, she understands her limitations really well, seeming eager to surround herself with vibrant people who when given the option make terrific choices.
I do wonder if that's an indication of how she will govern as President. Obama was also a bright and optimistic campaigner but was a very mainstream president, surrounding himself with traditional corporate and trigger-happy democrat advisors.
