hello gamers
I talk shit about Doctor Who, Star Trek/Wars, TV I'm watching and games I'm playing. Prolly some complaining about UK politics here and there, too.

god, I hate to say it, but xdefiant is an actually fun game.
It's nice to have a good CoD clone
I didn't play Mirage because it's still locked behind the Ubisoft launcher and I've got no doubt that Shadows and Outlaws are gonna be the same.
I'd probably play these games day 1 if they were released on Steam with full Deck verification, but Ubi gonna Ubi.
I can't lie that I'm on massive amounts of hopium for Assassin's Creed Shadows and Star Wars Outlaws.
I know Ubisoft's track record is dogshit. Believe me, I've been bit by them before, but I can't even express how much I need some good AC and Star Wars content.
Though, unless they both knock it out of the park, I still don't think I'll be using Ubisoft's launcher even *if* it's the only place to buy them on PC.
bluesky *finally* got hashtags and filtered words. I'm glad they're actually adding these features, but I gotta admit that they're the bare minimum for a modern social media platform.
also apparently the reason blocking someone doesn't remove them from your followers list is because of how the protocol works and that just seems like a *massive* oversight.
I don't know if this is a hot take, but I actually really like YouTube Premium. I watch a lot of YouTube on my Chromecast, so having ad-free videos on it without weird hacky workarounds is just really nice and convenient, and knowing that the people I watch get a pretty significant boost from Premium members is lovely.
YouTube Music is... *fine*. It's definitely not a Spotify contender as there's no official desktop app, and they share the same history, so it kinda messes with my recommended on the main YouTube site and app.
Though, I gotta say, I still absolutely fucking hate that Google are trying so hard to get rid of ad blockers. It's anti-consumer and anti-safety.

I am once again sad that I'm 26 and still don't have my own fuckin place.
1 bed flat with decent transport. That's all I want.
