By gutting the Greater Cities Commission, the NSW government is setting up itself and Sydney for failure

The centralisation of planning power is exactly what Sydney doesn’t need. While not perfect, the commission broke the mould of top-down, siloed planning and broadened the focus across the whole city.

The snail’s pace is disappointing. Figure out where the tram line goes and fund it. Get smart about contamination remediation and flood planning. Kick off projects for new school(s), parks, and sporting facilities. Get it right and it’ll be far better than Sydney’s green square, which is *still lagging* on those key things (some action though)

The industry wanted to capture the meat-eating market, but it’s actually selling to the part of the market, ~5%, that wasn’t eating meat to begin with. If health is your goal, a predominantly whole foods (minimal processed foods), and low or no meat diet is the way to go
