Transition isn't about sex.

Say it louder for the cis people in the back.

Transition isn't about sex.

Lots of cis folks keep trying to make it about sex because they can't understand it any other way. They're wrong.

I've known I wanted to be a girl since before I had a sexual orientation or any idea of what being a woman would imply sexually. I just wanted to be a girl. Simple as that.

Yes, of course sex matters. As an adult transitioning, I think about the impact my transition has on sex quite a lot. Sex is important. For most of us, that kind of intimacy is a basic human need. But it's also not the point of transition and if you insist that it is then you're the sicko, not me. I just like being a girl. πŸ‘—

Say it with me: β€œthe kids these days are working more than ever, getting paid less, and juggling like 900000000000 problems that past generations kicked down the road at them. THEY ARE NOT LAZY”
I’m no financial expert, but it looks to me like they’re organizing a hedge fund.
I agree with people here saying that Mozilla creating its own instance will help sell the masses on Mastodon. After all, look at the amazing job Mozilla's done marketing their VR tools:

Netflix has created a death spiral by being data driven.

1. Create reputation for canceling shows if not enough viewers.
2. Make new show.
3. Viewers wary of investing time in shows that get canceled.
4. Cancel show due to low viewership.
5. Go to step 1

Netflix Has Created A Self-Fulfilling Cancelation Loop With Its New Shows

A couple weeks ago, I remarked that Netflix now felt like it was β€œactively stealing time from me.” I can almost not even remember which cancelation I was talking about at the time, given that there have been so many, but I believe it was 1899

Direct messaging on mastodon is a pathetic joke. If the devs were this allergic to add it in the first place, they shouldn't have done it at all.

Hello y'all! I'm open for commission this holiday season to have some money for gifts! Boosts are appreciated. #PixelArt
Journalists will never stick around this app long term sadly unless it adds quote posting. We desperately need it to communicate effectively, build on each others ideas, and add crucial context to posts. These are things replies simply do not accomplish. Also quote posting or reblogging does not = harassment! Tumblr, for instance, has had the feature since the beginning. We need it here now too πŸ™πŸ»

They made a video tutorial about the new quasi-quote function, now that's super neat!! https://social.vivaldi.net/@justinionn/109564310897418243

I want a feature that lets big accounts redirect all their users to another account. In a way that maximizes chance that those passing by a random Retweet can read it & knee jerk respond to it. It must be quick & easy to act on impulses to shame behavior.

It is absolutely essential that we be allowed to enforce social + political norms via a mechanism that makes it trivial to dog pile.

How else can I weaponize a narrative to manipulate large scale behavior norms?

This is sarcasm.
