I started Passy, a passport reading app, for the Flipper Zero (https://lab.flipper.net/apps/passy).
However, I've only have a US passport, so I'm looking for people who can test it in other countries, or better yet: help debug it. Luu added 14b support for french passports, Willy fixed a bug with non-numeric characters to fix his italian id card. And even if you can't test or debug, you can help spread the word!
