@rob strange, wonder why it was even involved if it didn’t use it. Probably a lot of gear out there with fairly basic ipv6 stack if adoption is still fairly low
Based on a cursory look, it appears that the fediverse is adding new accounts at almost 3x the rate it did in the period after E-Day (Oct 27). Almost 120,000 new accounts per day! (Corrected from per hour - sorry)

UPDATE: Here's the latest chart.

We're now at 14,000 new users joining per hour.

By the end of the night, we might have 7 million Mastodon users.

@dnsprincess surprised to see such low use of edge.

Edge chromium is pretty good and integration with office 365 is very helpful. Also to me at least has been way faster and more reliable than chrome even though it shares its codebase with it

@rob @cmoz if I’m going to watch something I much prefer it to be all there so I can binge if it’s any good. I tend to struggle with tv dramas, bbc itv and c4 all release them at the same time and one episode a week. Hard to remember which one was which sometimes especially with crime dramas
@alexhardy hope they are teaching good code layout and nesting/indenting etc :)
@alexhardy that’s pretty awesome I’d have loved to be learning something useful from school IT. Instead of learning to program a BBC Micro in the age of the Pentium 2/3

@rob do you *need* the ipv6? Just curious

Not sure I see a huge need on small internal networks at home and SME

I’ve yet to find a great guide of video that explains it that well, but maybe 25 years of ipv4 in my head is clouding it a bit
