Try my new generative adventure game for iOShttps://apps.apple.com/gb/app/adventure-gen/id6449946881

Debris found, okay. We all knew the chances of this was HUGE at this point

And I still feel for the families but maybe it's about time they also should put in so many resources to help refugees instead of pirate billionaires who are in search for danger.

It's a shame how much attention these pirates get really..

Any idea how many people died the past days in search for a better life also in the ocean? Or the scary death toll in the war in Ukraine?

We have no time for billionaire pirate news

I want to live in a world where 500 migrants lost at sea evokes more concern than 3 millionaires lost in a vanity submarine.

My new generative text #adventuregame is out now on iOS (other platforms on the way):

Would really appreciate any and all feedback!

This same tragic story has been repeated in so many fields of human knowledge & endeavor: women raise the alarm about the dangers to society or specific marginalized groups, and suffer the grim personal & professional costs of speaking out, while men focus solely on their professional growth, don't rock the boat even if they do have any doubts, and only express them once their position is unassailable, but the harms are baked in & it's too late to close the barn doors.

Okay, so the #CreatorEconomy is going great on the birdsite.

Two of the top IAPs Twitter Subscriptions go to an account that posts videos of autistic people being beat up and another that... just wants to steal your money to buy cat beanies and manicures? 💅

It reminds me of this quote by Max Weber: “The fortunate man is seldom satisfied with the fact of being fortunate. Beyond this, he needs to know that he has a right to his good fortune. He wants to be convinced that he 'deserves' it, and above all, that he deserves it in comparison with others... Good fortune thus wants to be 'legitimate' fortune.”

Elon Musk is the most prominent face of the effort to protect tech's privilege

p.s. Twitter forces all links to go through its own t.co link shortener. Most people probably don't realise this, because the t.co links just look like normal links.

You can see this on Firefox on a computer. Hovering the mouse over a link shows its true URL in the bottom left corner.

On Twitter, all links are actually t.co addresses, so Twitter will be able to track people clicking on them.

On Mastodon, links are exactly what they appear to be.

See the screenshots for a comparison.

Elon Musk is actively dismantling the experience that brought people to Twitter in the first place. They’re not going to pay for a declining platform.

When Twitter dies, it needs to take Musk and the genius myth he built around himself with it. We shouldn’t let him try to shape our future anymore.

As Elon Musk removes the legacy blue checks, he needs more people to subscribe. It isn't happening.
