I make things and break things.

Frequently seen on a bicycle, often posting food pics of recipes in progress.

Networks fascinate me.

Okay so maybe baked beans and a pulled pork sandwich was too much molasses in one meal. But damn it's tasty.

From earlier this week, I'm playing around with the instant pot:
1.5 lbs cubed lamb shoulder
1c white beans
ΒΎc Farro
1 onion, diced
3 carrots, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
Fresh thyme & rosemary, minced
14oz can diced tomatoes
3c chicken stock (less the liquid from the tomatoes)
1c red wine
S&P
2T olive oil

Brown the lamb, then sautΓ© veg, add beans and Farro, deglaze w/ wine & add stock, add lamb (*Maybe leave until the end) then cook under high pressure until the beans are done.

I suppose the bottle is chemically incompatible with any other soy sauce.
I've had this really nice burr coffee grinder for years and years. However it has this bad habit of spreading coffee grounds about, and I've wanted a tray for it for ages. Well, you see, I have access to a CNC router… and finally have a tray that's custom-shaped for my grinder!
Rode 14 miles round trip today to buy ladybugs for my garden! Hopefully some will stick around for a while.
Took a relaxing morning to make biscuits and sausage. I gotta work on the recipe for the biscuits a bit though.
I'm interested to see how this goes; I might have overcrowded slightly, but I can always top up the soil, and worst case some of the extra Calendula can go.

Moving sucks.

But the new apartment's cool.

However, it has certain "luxury finishes" that leave a bit to be desired.

A more eventful Saturday than expected.
The loaf of banana bread from last night, now that I installed an update. It smells divine, I actually haven't had any yet.
