@jonpalmisc

After my week long internet outage last week I decided to finally get my 5G failover set up. Carrier board from Wireless Haven with a Quectel RM500Q-GL 5G modem. Loaded up with an "unlimited" EE sim from Scancom. UDM Pro handles automatically switching over to the backup WAN when my fiber goes down.
Getting about 250Mbps down in an area with good reception, about 150Mbps when banished to my server closet. May need to invest in an external antenna but that's a job for another day 👌

Hopefully this post gets indexed by Google; we ended up fixing the issue with a radare2-backed Python script: https://gist.github.com/PsychoTea/4f2698a70fd1386f6a8465ee987b1404

In the meantime I've opened FB20324882

A small Python script using r2 to fix up adrp/add instructions which become invalid after creating a kernel cache with kmutil.

There seems to be a bug in Apple's `kmutil` where it does not correctly reslide ADRP/ADD instruction pairs within a kext which point within __TEXT_EXEC; accounting for the fact that the __TEXT_EXEC region has been reloacted to a non-page aligned address

Strangely this does not occur for ADRP/ADD pairs which point to addresses outside of __TEXT_EXEC (ie. cstrings, kalloc type sites, etc)

@bazad @pedantcoder @radian pls fix 🙏

i'm looking for some software to create a smart/digital dashboard of sorts, showing weather forecasts, HomeAssistant integration, unifi/network traffic, road traffic data, live public camera feeds, running off an RPi

does anyone know of something like this?

'23 has been a tough year for many reasons but 37C3 couldn't've been a better way to end it. i've had some of the most interesting discussions of the year & it has reignited my passion & drive. on a deeply personal level; thank you to everyone for making it so special 🙏
