social media is bad, but i think college (esp in America) is worse. the more i go to school, the more i see how the rise in college attendance over the last century is less an interest in collective education & more an interest in keeping people's (students) minds and bodies submissive to a centralized authority(teachers). & in america, keeping kids in debt their whole lives makes it more difficult for them to break out & free themselves
