It's okay to take breaks and say no when you need to. You don't have to be a superhero all the time. Remember that your mental and physical health are important too. Take care of yourself and don't push yourself too hard. There's no shame in putting yourself first.

Going "above and beyond" perpetuates the expectation of free labor by normalizing working beyond our agreed-upon hours and compensation. This creates a culture where working overtime and taking on extra responsibilities are seen as signs of dedication and loyalty, instead of exploitation.
