Reliability of crash autosave

Reliability of crash autosave - Lemmy.World

I was cruising around in my new garbage truck earlier and the game let me know that it was time to do something else for a change by crashing to desktop. When I loaded in the next time, I seemed to be roughly in the spot where the crash happened. No idea if the save was the cause or the result of crashing or in any way related or not. Is an autosave that happened around a crash in danger of being somehow corrupted due to that or are the autosaves the game manages to reload definitely clean?

There isn’t any obvious way to either see where your low-ass level gang can quest next and there’s also no zone where you can keep grinding to build a few levels before moving on like in a Final Fantasy or something. That means while you have a giant freely accessible map, early encounters in the wrong neighbourhood will kill you dead anyway so there’s still railroading going on.

I’m looking forward to hoyo screwing up and making mistakes. I really like the apology stellar jades. They’re effectively conditioning me to cheer for their failures, which, from a PR-standpoint, is genius.

Sneaky hacking removed since launch? - Lemmy.World

I got the game soon after launch and started a sneaky hacker. Didn’t get very far before shelving the game until it was in a better place in terms of polish. Then I recently decided to give the game another chance and pick up where I left with the sneaky hacking. The character seems no longer viable now since my previous approach seems to be limited to however long it takes for the inevitable and unstoppable tracing to finish. Then the game gently pushes my nose into combat and rubs my face in the fact that I have not specced for that. Is there any way left to level my sneaky hacker through sneaky hacking? Because I did like that playstyle and I don’t see myself leveling a fighter. If I wanted to play a shooter, I certainly wouldn’t do that in Cyberpunk 2077.

Sorting my posts by Top [any time frame] always defaults to displaying top all time posts

Sorting my posts by Top [any time frame] always defaults to displaying top all time posts - Lemmy.World

No matter which Top sorting method I select in my profile, the result will always be all of my my all-time top posts instead of a selection based on the selected time frame from the drop down menu. All Top (x) selections seem to only show the uncurtailed Top All Time results while sorting by Old, New or Controversial seems to work as intended. I am browsing the default lemmy website interface from a Firefox web browser.

Rain on your wedding day isn't, in itself, ironic - BUT a song titled "Ironic" getting the very concept of irony wrong, that is the very core of irony, so... well done.
