Good morning!

I’ve never made an entry in Apple’s Journal app on iOS but I leave the notifications for journal ideas turned on for entertaining little nuggets like this. Apparently the most exciting thing I did yesterday was have lunch at a subway.

My other 2025 recap is from Transit App. My top cities this year were Chicago, Minneapolis and San Diego. Having just moved back to San Diego County I expect these listings to change.

Since I spent the last two weeks of 2025 moving to a new apartment I did not have a chance to review my end of the year stats. So here they are starting with podcasts.

I think I can finally go to bed now that I’m done analyzing the differences between Modern English’s versions of I Melt With You on their After the Snow and Pillow Lips albums. I have to be up at 5 AM.

At $29 for a pack of 6 iPod Socks they were a fun and colorful way to protect your iPod when throwing it in your backpack. At $150 to $230 this thing is just offensive.
