In the final scenes of the 1993 hit movie Free Willy the protagonists use a forklift and a stolen truck to free a killer whale from its life of captivity in an ailing amusement park. The homecoming for an orca called Toki may not be as dramatic as that Hollywood tale but for many it is a cause for immense celebration — and long overdue. The killer whale, captured in the wild as a calf more than 50 years ago and then forced to spend her life performing for crowds in a Florida aquarium, is
