Many things have changed since 2018, such as the names of the companies in the Fortune 100 list. But one aspect of that vaunted list that hasn't shifted much since is that very few of these companies list any security professionals within their top executive ranks.

The next time you receive a breach notification letter that invariably says a company you trusted places a top priority on customer security and privacy, consider this: Only four of the Fortune 100 companies currently list a security professional in the executive leadership pages of their websites. This is actually down from five of the Fortune 100 in 2018, the last time KrebsOnSecurity performed this analysis.

@LadyDragonfly The only person I'm afraid of is me.

That dude is crazy!!!😜

If that makes people smile we're both happy.🙃

@flexghost RFK used to be on the staff of the Pace University Law School in White Plains, NY. He was the head of the environmental law program there. He was an advocate for climate change and for protecting endangered species.

Now besides being an anti-vaccine idiot, he's also anti-climate change as well.

So much for protecting polar bears.

One more thing, I've been inoculated 6 times with the Moderna Covid 19 vaccine. Got the 2 shots and 4 boosters at my local VA medical center. I DID NOT turn 98 shades of purple and keel over. Alive and well as I type this! 😁

@GottaLaff Trump did state at a few of his gatherings, "I love the uneducated!"

This is why. He posts on social media knowing, at a minimum, one of his minions, morons, magats, or whatever you call them, will show up and do something..........uneducated. 🙄

@QasimRashid Had to give this a thumbs down because of the judge. Look up the word prejudice in the dictionary and this judge should be pictured.

Houston becomes the first Texas city to sue over the new extremist state law that prevents cities from self-governing.

Houston sues state in attempt to block new law that erodes cities’ power

House Bill 2127 — dubbed the “Death Star” law by opponents — prevents local governments from creating rules that go further than what’s allowed under broad areas of state law. Houston’s suit says the new law violates the state’s constitution.

It takes an idiot to be cruel.

The best leading indicator of intelligence is kindness. Back in caveman days, if you saw something new, and you weren't scared of it, you got eaten. Or worse. That's evolution. Our base instinct is to react first out of fear. It takes intelligence to overcome that first base programming and seek a second, more understanding, more tolerant reaction to new things. In evolutionary terms, it was our intelligence allowed humankind to develop empathy for one another. It is the foundation upon which all civilizations are built.

You want to know who the smartest people in the room are? Look for the kind folks. Look for those who help others. Look for those who give selflessly, thoughtfully, of their time and skills and talents.

Conversely, you want to know who the dumbest dumbasses who ever dumbed are? Look for the people whose entire lives are marked by acts of cruelty.

If Putin needs advice on how to stop an armed column advancing on his capital, he could ask the Ukrainians.

@Geewhizpat Cool shit!!!!🙃

For Trump..........very highly deserved. The question remains🤔, What happens to the star should Trump be convicted of felonies?
