🥳 Xdebug 3.5.0 Released!

🔥This is the first release to officially support PHP 8.5.

👣 It contains the first public release of Native Path Mapping, which allows you to map directories, files, and lines when PHP executes a file, to a location where you would edit it.

🔌 Support for communication through a control socket allows you to start debugging, or a pause a request, when a script is running.

📄 The full announcement is at https://xdebug.org/announcements/2025-12-04

🥧 You can install @Xdebug through PIE

It’s been two years since Sara Pellegrini published her talk “Killing the Aggregate.” Since then, we’ve spent a lot of time thinking about #DynamicConsistencyBoundaries and how they affect the design of our systems. Today, we’re proud to announce https://dcb.events 🚀 – a project collecting ideas, explanations, and resources around #DCB. We hope it becomes a helpful reference for developers navigating similar questions. It's important to highlight, that this is a non-commercial project. Our goal is to keep these ideas open and accessible to everyone, encourage wider adoption so more developers can benefit from it. We also aim to gather feedback to refine and evolve the ideas together. We’ve got plenty more ideas in the works – so stay tuned and please give us feedback. #KillAggregate #EventSourcing #DCB #DDD #Complexity
