I view this as Naval commanders looking out for their personnel. Why would they risk escorting commercial activities if they’re not directly ordered to? That isn’t their primary mission/objective. The war is completely stupid and the vast majority of people do not want to be involved, but the US and Israeli billionaires are insisting to poke the hornets nest. That doesn’t mean commanders on the ground/water want to put their lives on the line for what’s an obvious bullshit conflict designed to enrich said billionaires.

I’m guessing it impacted some people for there to be a Hacker News (a fairly respectable news outlet) article about it. I was just listening earlier today and didn’t have any ads. Same with my wife on her account (family plan).
They’re not saying they want juice coming out of an ass when they call an ass juicy… It’s meant to describe something that looks appetizing, like a juicy grape…
And that ass is very defined/toned, I would not classify that as an “absolutely normal ass.” I don’t think it’s thicc, per se, but it is a very attractive butt (and I say that as a straight guy). I do agree “thicc” is highly overused, as it should be describing something that is actually a bit fatty/curvy/voluptuous, versus an athletically toned piece of anatomy.
That’s not really a good example. He was fully masked and all the people involved were black (the bank teller who called the cops, the cops that showed up, etc.). He was also sketchy with writing an awkward note to withdraw a large sum of money and that he wanted it done discreetly. It was still a fuck up on Bank of America’s part, but in this instance I give the bank teller some amount of understanding when the entire context is taken into considering. Ryan Coogler even said he was satisfied with how BoA apologized and whatnot.
All that being said, if it was a poor person in this situation… I highly doubt the outcome would’ve been so cordial
Idk, I’m not sure it’s really that deep in most modern vernacular. Out of all social issues, being critical of people using slang like this who don’t intentionally mean it to be gender exclusive or biased is a choice you can make. I just think there’s bigger issues facing women than “guys” and “pussy” slang.

Even if they do, don’t be a dumbass and have your phone on you and be completely covered and approach the device via analogue method (e.g. walking, bicycle without a serial, etc).
