Say no to AI.
I write software. Mostly backend server stuff.

“Pinned collections” feels like a compromise to try and paper over the fact that, when you have a lot of features, splitting related features by tabs makes it much faster to reach a specific one. I think I would struggle to explain this feature to a non-technical user.
Stuff like Trips and Map that I always forgot existed are now much more in front of me, which I like a lot. 2/2
I said it before and I'll say it again:
"AI model learns, therefore it is intelligent" is like saying "computer programs run, therefore they have legs."
Metaphors like "program runs" or "model learns" are useful, but are just that: metaphors.
Drawing conclusions on their basis is folly.
Keep that in mind next time AI-hypers try to draw equivalences between a child going to a museum and then making their own art, and a LLM gobbling up terabytes of text and then generating word salad.
✅ nice colours
✅ lighter
✅ cheaper
❌ i will miss a 120Hz screen
Think this is the year I go no-Pro?
Seriously though: I want (okay, demand) a version of Firefox with the "AI chatbot" functionality removed. Not disabled. Removed. I want all code which is specifically designed to connect to OpenAI removed from my computer completely. I do not care if the vampires have promised not to suck my blood. I do not want the vampires in my house in the first place.
