It’s that time again. Time to pack my hacker gear (black jeans) and head to the surface of the sun(Las Vegas) for BlackHat and DEFCON. I’ve recently had a positive “cold-contact” experience via LinkedIn (more on that in another post). I’m going to try something a little different this year, and open things up here (Mastadon & LinkedIn) for folks to express interest in meeting up with me. This is not a blanket invitation to anyone and everyone to sell me their magic widget. (I have plenty of magic widgets).

My main mission in Vegas this year is to invite users and customers to air their grievances (listen and collect feedback) and to share our product roadmap at Maltego. If you are an Enterprise customer, reach out to your Customer Success Manager. If you are a data partner, reach out to your Partnership Manager in our Data Hub team. They will be able to directly schedule with me.

If you don’t fit in those categories, here are some examples of the other kinds of conversations I want to have:

- Other Maltego customers or users with feedback to share or questions to ask.

- Catching up with old friends. (If I know you already this one is easy).

- Net new networking, I’m open to meeting new folks, either you are new to the space, we haven’t crossed paths before, or we have lost touch.

- Candidates for new Maltego data partners. If you have something you think we should integrate.

- Interesting folks who might want to work at Maltego someday.
