@garfiald it sucks though, because then I have to go through yet another round of defusing all of the "oh yeah, what about Obama/Clinton/etc" jabs
@garfiald most people I know still use Democrat or Republican instead of left/right or even liberal/conservative. I bristle at it nowadays but if someone asks me if I'm a Democrat I just sheepishly say "yeah" because then they have an idea, however vague, of where I'm coming from
