23y/o student from the Netherlands. Reads in both Dutch and English, would love to pick up some German and French books in the future
@helena yup, same goes for me. I also prefer small paperback books over hard covers. I've also got tiny hands so huge books are quite a handful haha
@AgNO3Kate which ereader do you have?
Always sucks to have to put a book down because you need to get to essay writing.. luckily I get to reward myself after hitting the 500w wordcount! :D
@postmodem you never find yourself wanting to highlight something in your books? For my studies I usually buy hardcopy books even though the ebooks are way cheaper
@AgNO3Kate ooh interesting. I also read a lot on my phone, but that's usually news paper articles and such, never books. I have an ereader for novels :) never wanted to invest into an ereader?

Which do you prefer? Ebooks or physical books?

Anyone got a book recommendation in the genres contemporary fiction, fantasy or young adult?

Hi everyone, just trying to figure out Mastodon! Currently reading two books: Stella Gemmel's the City and Illuminae by Kaufman and Kristof.

Favorite genres: #fantasy #contemporary #youngadult

I always find myself browsing and reading about books instead of actually picking up a book.
