Pizza night with the in-laws. Decided to make some sheet pan pizzas, used my pizza steel to ensure a nice crispy crust. Homemade sauce, a parm herb and mozz blend. Some wings and salad too because why not.

It’s the dang owl, but supplemented with Genki it’s somewhat easier. I’m starting to pick up words and broken up sentences in shows, reading little news snippets and the like. Probably helps to have learned another language before, but something feels like “good progress” so far with Japanese. Trying to get Kanji will be a challenge for sure. Mostly doing weird mnemonics and logic for why some kanji like up as certain words. 鳥 looks like a bird crest on a cockatoo for me, for example.
I’ve recently taken up taking photos using my old Gameboy Camera; something is really soothing about the 2-Bit photos it makes <3
